Joan Fischer Quan has been in the basket business since 1982. She was a sales representative for several major basket companies, consulted with basket companies on basket design, and in 1995 started JFQ Baskets.
Her goals for JFQ Baskets were to:
1. Offer high quality baskets with elegant designs.
2. Offer practical baskets that pots would fit in with a minimum of effort.
3. Offer excellent customer service.
We work with our suppliers to develop elegant, practical designs using high quality materials. We give our suppliers common sizes of pots so the baskets we import will complement your products with minimal effort. In most cases you can drop a plant into one of our baskets, add a bit of moss and have a finished product.
JFQ Baskets sells wholesale only. This means that we require verification that our customers are business intending to resell our products. In California we require a resale certificate. In other states we require similar documentation, for example a business liccense or Federal Tax ID number.
